There are many components of the Observatory
(e.g. telescope parts, books, records, devices etc) still scattered throughout
Bloemfontein and even the country. If you recognize something that might
have belonged to the observatory, again please contact us, it will be
much appreciated.

with the research on Lamont-Hussey, let us know! The Friends of Lamont-Hussey
Observatory was informally established in 2002 and share in
the knowledge and discoveries of the group.
